Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington SNAP Ed Program
About Us
Catholic Charities Eastern Washington Food For All has provided SNAP-Ed programming throughout eastern Washington since 2014 as part of the Washington State Farmers Market Association’s Regional Lead program and since 2016 with Farm to Community programming. We have focused on food access programming at farmers markets, low-income housing communities, food pantries, and early learning centers.

- Initiated or expanded farm-to-table/use of fresh or local produce, use of the garden for nutrition education
- Established new distribution sites and implemented novel distribution systems to reach high-risk populations, such as home delivery for the elderly, farmers markets, etc.
- Improved food purchasing/donation specifications or vendor agreements towards healthier foods/beverages
