Pend Oreille County WSU SNAP Ed Program
About Us
The SNAP-Ed program (also known as Food $ense) has been in Pend Oreille County since 2004, providing nutrition education to youth and adults. We are in all three school districts, afterschool programs, food banks, at the farmer’s market, Kalispel Tribe programs, adult cooking classes at the Extension Office, and participate in several community events to provide tools essential to making healthy choices for food and physical activity.
