Yakima County WSU SNAP Ed Program
About Us
Yakima County WSU SNAP-Ed is a project in southeast Washington that has offered programming for over ten years. Recently we have focused on gardening and food access with adults through food banks, homeless shelters and drug treatment centers. Work with youth has focused on teaching elementary school students. This year look for our continued work around adult food access, gardening, community center policies around health, teaching elementary youth and addressing school environments.
