Yakima Health District SNAP Ed Program
About Us
Yakima Health District has delivered SNAP-Ed programming in Yakima County for six years. Recently we have focused on improved food access through food bank policies and practices. We’ve also provided technical assistance for a trail development project that addresses safe walking and physical activity. This year, look for us to continue food access work through schools and mobile food banks as well as continued work around improved physical activity through promotion of local trails, pathways and parks.
