Troy Burgess, SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator at DSHS, shared information about programming at DSHS and how it relates to the work done in SNAP-Ed. He also talked about ways SNAP-Ed providers can work with their local CSO and provided examples of work being done in the state.

Topic: Small Stores and Food Retailing

This forum describes two successful projects that work with small grocery corner stores. Natalie Tauzin, RD, MPH, from Spokane Regional Health District and Stephanie Wood, MPH, CHES, from Tacoma Pierce County Public Health describe the process they used to help increase access to healthy food to their communities.
