Introduction to the Curriculum
Walk with Ease is a physical activity program designed by the Arthritis Foundation that encourages walking as a daily form of activity to improve strength, mobility, and overall health.
Walk with Ease has been proven to:
- Reduce pain.
- Build confidence in being physically active.
- Improve overall health.
The Washington State SNAP-Ed program has approved the use of Walk with Ease, as either an in-person and virtual curriculum. All educators using the curriculum are required to attend a training.
Instructor guides and participant materials are available through the Arthritis Foundation. These materials can only be accessed in two ways:
- A provider receives them when they sign up for the self-paced Walk with Ease training modules provided by the Arthritis Foundation.
- Purchased directly from the Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease website.
Additional materials, including marketing and recruitment materials, are available at the bottom of this page.
