Washington State Department of Health is pleased to announce Complete Eats has relaunched
, thanks to a generous grant from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation.
Where: Complete Eats is available at all Safeway stores in Washington except stores located in Seattle. Safeway stores in Seattle have a similar program funded through the Sweetened Beverage Tax.
How it works: SNAP shoppers who buy at least $10 worth of qualifying fruits and vegetables using their SNAP food benefits and their Safeway Club Card will get a coupon for $5 off their next purchase. Shoppers can choose from fresh, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, so long as the products have no added fats, sugars or salt. Look for the green Complete Eats logo on shelf tags for eligible canned and frozen products.
When: The program is available now!
How long will the program last? The program is currently running and DOH continues to look for funds to extend programming. Please monitor the Complete Eats website for program changes in the future.
